I repaired the 4 wires in the harness that usually go bad...not too bad a job. My son and I did it in 2 days taking our time...but when I replaced the B23 engine with a rebuilt one, I sprang for a used harness...worth every penny. If you intend to keep your 83, get a harness. Saves you many a headache trying to figure which wires go where later on (ask me how I know).
