Red Lining 200 1978

I thought the redline on all of the motors, from B20 onward, was 6500 for short periods of time, and 6000 continuous. My parents' '74 142 had the "yellow zone" on the tach begin at 6000, and the "red zone" begin at 6500. My 240 wagon has an open red zone starting at 6000, and a closed red zone beginning at 6.5k. The engine seems to have a rev. limiter which cuts it out at about 6200rpm. The 142 was a B20, and the 240 is a B230F, but I'm guessing that the B21's are rated the same by Volvo.
