Follow Don Foster's advice on the alternator brushes.

If the AC light still flashes, that is an indication of a fault in the ACC system. There is information in the service manual on how to read the fault codes from the flashing ACC button. That information may be in the owner's manual, and it may be in the 700/900 FAQ. If the ACC light still flashes after you address the possible alternator and battery issues, message me back and I'll post the information on the self diagostic ACC system.
