Please, help with In-Car Temperature sensor 700 1986

Thank you for your prompt and helpful reply. The in-car temperature sensor consists of a L-shaped black plastic tube, with a 1/2 inch square section base about one inch long and a 1/2 inch diameter round section leg about two inches long. Two wires about eight inches long come out of back of the base of the L and end in a two pronged connector. A few inches of corrugated plastic tubing attach to the round section leg of the L. The sensor is installed in the dashboard right above the glove box and toward its left side. In that position but atop the dashboard, you can see a little V-shaped plastic grille about two inches by one inch though which the resistor inside the sensor comes in contact with the ambient air inside the car. This little grille attaches to the square section base of the sensor through a cutout in the dashboard. If you have a fax number, I can send you a picture of the part and its location. You can post the fax number here, email it to me at rafaelriverol@hotmail.com or fax it to 1 787 263-9186, as you prefer. If you have access to the Volvo factory manual for the Automatic Climate Control (ACC), the pat appears as illustration 205 on page 115 of the manual.
