No tailgate wash 700 1990

Hello I have finally fixed my rear wash. The switch was fine and pump was also. The pump wasn't getting any power so I checked the wireing around switch and pump and all looked perfect and no chafing.I checked the tubing to the tailgate by swapping the electrical connectors over and operating the stalk forward and it sprayed the tailgate so I knew the tubing was ok. I checked the wiring in the tailgate as a last ditch attempt and it looked good. So I replaced the float valve inside the washer bottle with a used one as that was the only component I hadnt replaced and hay presto a working rear tailgate wash. My next job is to convert my manual sunroof to an electric one. James.
