Which method should I use to install my stereo?

You might want to take a look at valcoelectronics.com or scosche.com for available adapter to plug into the Volvo harness. I believe you have a nine pin Molex connector with approximately .093 female terminal socket pins on the main loom and need the VO1 adapter from Scosche. Take a look at the site this one can be either sodered on or installed with solderless connectors. The piece is also available from Crutchfield if it was not included in the installation kit you mentioned. By the way does anyone know where I can get the female terminal pins found in the 1989 or later Volvo radio connector that goes into anti-theft radios such as the CD-617? This connector is black with a double row of pins the one side is odd (1 - 11) and the other is even (2 - 12). I have the hood and seven terminals with wires from a 90's 700 series auto and need an addition four (4) female terminals in order to connect up the front speakers on by 86 240. My rear speakers are through a Volvo 2x15 amp and work great with this radio, but I need to have the fronts functional as well. If anyone knows where I can buy these soderless terminal pins, they can be accessed on this hood by carefully prying up the black hood pieces at the exits for the wires and others installed within, I'd appreciated knowing about it. Else I'll have to purchase either another connector from a Volvo wreck or a 4 x whatever amp and wire the from speakers into it. Sorry I sound cheap, but I need the bread to buy my Viagra fix from Canada !
