I use my impact as others have already mentioned.

Last year another brought up the same topic. I suggested a $20 110v electric impact from Harbor Frieght as he didn't have an air compressor. The electric worked well for him, but he said it did take a bit of hammering (waiting on the impact to break the nut loose). Anyway, he got them off and now has a tool for $20 that's useful for much more than just struts.
