Window regulator? 700

It is not too difficult. Three of four screws (maybe nuts on studs) and a couple of clips that must be removed on the inside where it is hard to reach. The regulator is in an 'X' with one corner held in place. As the motor operates on a large partial gear, the X opens or closes. In doing so, it raises and lowers the window. The sliding components are where the clips are located. There are also a couple of plastic washers located on one or both sides of the sliding points.

I know you checked the switches, but before you go to all this trouble, make sure that you are getting 12 Volts direcly to the motor contacts. This will eliminate any other wiring errors that may be the fault. Don't, like I did, forget to turn the key on when making this check.

One other note of caution: When you remove the regulator, there is nothing holdig the glass in place, so be careful when you disengage the regulator from the glass. This is another job where a second pair of hands would come in handy. If the second pair of hands is not available, you could hold the glass in place with duct tape while exchanging the regulator.

Good luck,

Dan
