Yes it's fairly straightforward to take one out.
4 10mm nuts (M6) and a couple clips that basically just pry and slide off the pins of the regulator. Be careful not to damage the teflon (nylon?) tuning-fork shaped guides in the door itself.
Note that there's probably a screw in the bottom of the door speaker that will put up a fight when removing the door panel. You may have to unscrew it a long way; or it might already be loose.
I've serviced a window regulator in a parking garage before, and been successful, so it can't be too hard, right? (We wouldn't have been able to lock up the car if it wasn't fixable, and we were far from home!)
