Pressure should be 28-30psi at warm idle. I installed a fuel pressure gauge in the pressure line [ the one that goes into the fuel rail]. you can adjust pressure at the regulator which is located in the the center of the fuel rail. the screw has a locknut which you loosen & then adjust the bolt in to increase pressure-out to decrease. The leaks may be caused by using the wrong hose to repair them. Be sure to get fuel injection hose which has a higher pressure rating. It would be unusual to get enough pressure to cause leaks unless the return line is plugged. It's probably just old hoses. If the injector leaks it's junk though. You can also adjust the mixture somewhat by playing with the press. reg. & looking at the plugs color[assuming you don't have a 4 gas analyzer]. Good luck & be sure to change those hoses-fuel & hot exhaust tend to make big messes after you use the fire ext.
