Should I Remove A/C From My 1972 ES 1800

I repaired the AC system in my 1970 P1800E replacing the air compressor with a rebuilt York until as was the original dealer installed unit. Also replaced the drier and hoses. It works very well now. The rebuilt compresor was about $100 and the total cost was less than $1000 having an AC shop do the rest.
