hi,
do those two doo-hickeys(?) have oil in them? i just got my '66 wagon back from the shop where they replaced an old weber with the SUs, they made sure to point out keeping tranny fluid in those two pistons(?) on the carbs.(?)also they told me there's no accelerator pump in the SUs, and to just pull the choke to start it, don't pump it i guess? or switch to an electric pump, keep your pressure constant. just thinkin out loud...don't take my word for it.
