Your car, as you know, suffers from engine harness rot, so make sure your cleaning did not dislodge any more insulation. Try carefully disconnecting all connectors, cleaning and deoxidizing them (see the 700/900 FAQ for tips using DeOxIt) then reassembling using dielectric grease for all except the oxygen sensor.
