Defintely gradual. I am not sure how many miles are on the car. I have had it for 3 years and the odometer was stuck around 165k when I got it. Not sure how long it has been broken.
So, assuming that the shims are way out of whack, I can measure, pull the cam off then get some shims and put them in according to their needs and put it back together. Would it be smart to change out the dampers (below the buckets?) while I am there?
