Third 'Level,' about a week 200 1989

Maaco has four big types of paint jobs that they do, proudly displayed on a wall near the front desk. We got the Presidential paint job, which is the third level (there are two cheaper options). There was also a $100 discount running at the time, so really, it should have cost $612 to do.

It took about a week to get painted. I think we left it on a Wednesday or Thursday, and then it was ready the next Wednesday. We went to pick it up on Thursday (we were out of town when they called) and then it had to stay overnight so that they could find a replacement turn signal lens.

I doubt the painting really took that long because I don't think they started on it as soon as I dropped it off. The same goes for the touch-ups on the trunk--we left it on a Thursday night, but they definitely didn't have it ready by the end of Friday. It sat over the weekend (I'm guessing, since they supposedly don't do work then, and especially because this time frame was over the Easter weekend) and we were able to get it about 11:00 Monday morning.
