Cam,

I had a similar question a couple of months back. It appears that there is no specification for turning the 444 - 544 drum. All the factory manual says is that scratches can be polished out. Even the rear drums on the 122 can only be turned to .015" over according to the book. If you scroll down to about mid-February, there was a lot of discussion. Phil S had a practical method for determining usability of the drum based on experience, but it may not satisfy your inspector. I was able to salvage my rear drums based on that information, but they wiouldn't meet the factory specs for the 544 or the 122. I'm finishing up a front disc conversion because I didn't want to spend big bucks on new drums....
