Yes the world is relieved of a caravan while mourning the loss of a Volvo(in all bad a little good must come). My wife, the driver, is in good shape, only a bruised ego. I will not let her drive another 745 though, this his her second loss of a 745. The first one was also not her fault(verified by the police reports), she was attacked by a Jetta in a long curve. She was going 50 he was doing 120(kph)when he touched his brakes lightly, which caused him to drift infront of her. The resulting impact(full frontal contact)severly damaged the 745 as well as the drivers ego(the car was rebuilt though, being only 9 years old at the time the cost was worth the effort). The jetta(1999)was a write-off as the had to use the jaws of life to extricate the driver(my wife undid her seat-belt and opened the door, injury bruised sholder and ego)later to spend several days in hospital. In both cases Volvo saved my wife.
