trans problem 900

Those lights on the dash coming on usually indicates a problem with the alternator - either with the unit itself, or a ground connection (ground wire from the alt. to the engine block, or maybe a ground problem in the instrument cluster).

I don't have any first-hand experience with this type of problem on my car, but I suggest you check out the electrical/charging section of the FAQ:

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/ElectricalStarting.htm#Alternator_Wiring_is_Failing

Also try doing a search, something like "alternator dash lights"... bet you find lots more info. Many auto parts joints, like Autozone, will test your alternator for free.
