I redid my 93 245 with a harness made from 12 ga wire..helps some. Now I want to do my son's 83 245 with the 4 lamps. I say that you should go to a high quality auto parts store and get the correct plastic socket for the headlamps. If you get the connectors from the junkyard that have 12 ga wire and the little hook to keep them in the plastic connector, then just solder these in line, shrink wrap and insert into a plastic housing. You will rewire the headlamps and get brighter lights.
I'll do it this summer with son's help.
