I was trying to be gentle with what I think may be wrong. Is it possible that you have an internal failure in your motor? If you do, you will not be able to turn it by hand. You obviously have a good battery when you put a new one in, it is obvious that the starter is getting power, as evidenced by the solenoid clicking. Basically, there are only two things that I can think of, right off the top of my head, that can cause what you are experiencing, a bad starter ground, or your motor is locked. I'm sure there could be other things...but I can't think of any of them.
