Honest its a bone stock turbo diesel with E-spec head, (grins) and other goodies.
Actually during the rebuild I ported the head and matched it to both manifolds and just by luck the replacement rods were on the high end of the scale plus the use of a 1-notch head gasket. The automatic diesels were slow no doubts there but the manual tranny with that barn crawler 1st gear really makes a diffrence. I keep my shift points above 2500 to the next gear and 1/2 throttle between shifts to keep the turbo spooled up. Even in bone stock form the TD is rather snappy but the real win comes not with speed but how well you can handle the car.
