Hi earthworm,
"Rust Check" is a brand name for a franchized rustproofing method and product that's sold throughout Canada. There's another similar product called "Krown". Both of these methods cost ~$115 CAD and intail a bunch of holes being drilled in the car's body so that the rustproofing fluid can be sprayed in. The quality is spotty for both products as it depends on the business/person who is doing the application. I've seen it where the holes were drilled, but it appeared as nothing had been sprayed in and also some applications (mostly of Rust Check) where there was lots of fluid applied and a desent job done. Both of these methods are greatly surpassed by the method my Vo mechanic uses. It's the best method I've ever seen, by far. It's quite labour intensive and some people don't like it because it means removal of door skins, etc, but IMO it's WELL worth it.
