Henry,

I'd flush the box and replace the ATF (tranny fluid). Good info on the procedure, as I recall, in the archives or 700/900 FAQ. Dropping the pan and cleaning it and the stainless steel mesh filter is also something to consider. I'd do this before considering any major repairs or a replacement AW. Low cost, easy to do and it often helps. My $.02
