91 240 no start, help

Thanks Randy, I found all of the info very interesting. Oddly, today I went over to where the car is and intended to do some investigation. I decided to add the last half gallon of fuel I had with me and gave it a try before doing anything else. It fired right up. Ran fairly well, I watched it for a bit, shut it off and restarted it. It got hot pretty quick. I shut it down and let it cool completely, added 1.5 gallons of coolant and restarted, it stayed cool and I took it for a drive around the neighborhood. I have started it and shut it down at least 10 times today hot and cold. Everytime it has started. It runs ok, not like new but no smoke or knocks, the valvetrian sounds a bit noisy, it is a little slow to rev and not as smooth as it could be but overall it seems pretty good.

I am relieved but still don't trust it. It all seems too easy. The people that sold it to me only had it three months and payed $2800 for it. It seems they gave upo pretty quick for not having it very long and not even checking the fuel level.

Any coments or things I should keep an eye on that I may have overlooked?

Jon
