Quick AC Question 200

The system was evacuated about a year and a half ago. I am basically going from that point to get it cold in the cabin. does the old oil get sucked out with the evacuation? I had forgot about this item. do I need to add some ester oil now when I do this?

also, how do I equalize the system that you speak of? do you mean just have the proper refrigerant amount in there to run properly?
