I think I might have to buy another brick!

So, I was scrolling through some adds and I found a 1993 Volvo 244 with 93000 miles and then I decided to go look at it. Well, I like the way the car looked and so I drove it. I found that it had working a/c and much better brakes then my 88 244 which I just had the brakes done on 3k miles ago. I'm afraid that I have come to like the car. The car is in really good shape, and I'm thinking of buying it and selling my 88. Would I be sorry if I did this? I would have never before considerd selling the 88 I would have the car checked out. Is there any reason that the 88 was a better car then the 93? They were asking 6k and they said that they would sell it to me for $5500. This seems like a lot of money for this old of a car, but it is in very nice shape. I have 166000 on my 88 and it is still a nice car with the exception of some paint issues on the hood roof and decklid, but it has obviously had a lot more use then the 93. Oh my 88 is a m47 five speed and the 93 has the auto with. What is the better transmission?
The main reason that I'm thinking of buying this car is that if Volvo was to evercome out with the 240 again I would buy it. Well, that not lickly, so I'm thinking the '93 is as close as I will get to that "new 240". I really like the 200 series cars, and I really always want to have one. I'm thinking that this might be a good one to have and keep. OH, and would my turbo wheels go on the 93? I heard something about a locater pinbefore...is that a problem?
Let me see if I can post some picutes that I just took of it.
