First, your car doesn't have the wiring for the 3 gauge cluster. You'll have to do that one from scratch.

There's only one wire that plugs into the tach to make it work. The connector you're talking about is the one for the harness to the small clock, which would install in one of the 2 blanks to the right of the instrument cluster.
