1990 765ti, b230ft, 233k - I'm in the process of getting this car back on the road after a few months. Check engine light was on, had 3 codes stored, 1 for failed injector, and 2 for the oxygen sensor. Cleared codes and O2 sensor codes came right back, changed O2 sensor and cleared codes again and CEL has not come back on. Car doesn't seem to be running as rich, but under full boost is still blowing a lot of black smoke. All plugs look the same (black and sooty, but not wet) and the injector code has not come back after about 70 miles. Changed fuel pressure regulator with known good one, didn't seem to make a difference. All vacuum lines and boost hoses are good.

Anything else I should check? I read in the FAQ about the problems with the ECU and I'm hoping that is not the problem.
