cold/warm engine - what's different in engine management,..? 700 1987

'87 740 turbo wagon, M46
i was wondering what's different in fuel injection, engine management when you start your engine. I guess there gets more fuel inject. reason is, my engine runs perfect when warm, but has a strange behavior when cold - so there must be something wrong.
It started after i accidentally mixed up spark plug wire one and two - so it misfired once and i guess it damaged something on the intake side (i also got a small leak on the intake side (can read it from the turbo gage). My ideling is normal except that when decelerating (pressed clutch) the rpm drops to around 1600rpm and from there on very slowly to ideling.
Any ideas - is there some kind of valve that could be damaged?
thx.
