Do you have a vacuum assist unit? These are known for making fluid seemingly dissapear (by storing it, worse than a chipmunk in the fall)...and they could very well also be responsible for intermittent leaks and whaky symptoms...if not, just find the wet corner (or line, or fitting) for starters...

Regarding the electrical symptoms...if turning something on creates enough of a (momentary) voltage drop to cause other items to go off and/or the AMP light to go ON, that sure suggests a poor connection in the current path, but this can be ANYWHERE in the path, from the battery, to the big stud on the starter, to the nuts on the back of the IGN sw, to the chassis GND strap, to the conical fuse ends, to the push-on connectors, to their crimps. If you've assured a good connection at the stacked terminals of the fuseblock that's a good start, but there are lots of other connections around, so you've just got to keep going with your "Poor-Connection-Elimination-Program". I suggest removal and a good abrasive cleaning of the all of the above mentioned connections followed by an application of anti-corrosive paste. Then post again and let us know how she goes.
