I ordered up the fuel pressure attachment from the local tool guy to test fuel pressure-here are the readings.Engine idle pressure 37-38 psi with 15"of engine vacuum, with vacuum line disconnected from FPR; pressure is 45 psi,and with 10psi applied to FPR; pressure is 55 psi.The spec in my book is 42 psi with engine off and fuel pump relay by- passed across the terminals,I haven't found a spec with the engine running,if I briefly pinch the return hose the pressure instantly rises to over 75 psi if I let it.I'm down to bottom of the diagnostic tree with the manual, all thats left is cleaning or replacing the injectors.Has anyone cured a 232 code with new injectors on a high mileage engine?Any input appreciated.
