Pulling Steering wheel on 240 1991 no cruise cont

Howdy all!

Getting set to replace the dimmer/turn signal switch on a 1991 240.

I have a repair manual that says to remove the steering wheel.

What it DOESN'T say is how to remove the trim pieces so you can get to the bolts, without destroying thsoe trim piecse and being left with a nasty-looking job.

Any thoughts?
