My short affects brake lights, reversing lights and horn... and since I use all of these even on short journeys it was a slightly tedious procedure to track why the fuse kept blowing... eventually I found one of the brake wires had broken a couple of filaments on an exposed bit and this was probably also knocking against the metal of the rear of the trunk. Not sure if the first caused it but the second sure would have.
Here in UK we are starting to use the term SUV, and almost always in a negative sense, whereas if you're describing a Land Rover hustling lustily through a dirty farmyard that would always be called a 4x4. Funny thing, language.
