I had posted this in the 900 series forum but I hoping that I may get an opinion from this forum since the front ends are identical.

I never liked the steering in my son’s ’95 944 T. Pulled right and just not steady. Driving it last week reminded me of that. Originally the steering wheel was cocked to the right. I took it in to get it checked out (second time). Results:

Spec, Camber.1deg +/- 1deg_______________Measured 0deg, left and right.
Spec, Toe-in angle 18minute +/-8minute___Measured 14min left and right.
Spec, Caster 5deg +/- 1deg_______________Mesured L 5.8deg, R 5.2deg.
Rear tracking was fine.

Summery, RH Caster is slightly out of whack. No signs of damage.

The left control arm bushing was ;solid and the right has a small amount (1/8”) of play when forced with a bar.

After digging into this I called the front end man and he said that going a few degrees over, vs. the left would be preferred to compensate for road crown. I ordered the long control arm strut that will increase the RH caster 8deg, from 5.2 to 6 deg. All assuming that the “standard” control arms are installed.

I need consensus on my plans before I go too far, dollar and repair wise. (It cost $90 for the control arm and $60 for the alignment check.)
