Heated Lamda Sensor 700 1987

If your O2 sensor has three wires, it is heated. Thypically, two white wires are for the heat and a black one is for the sensor. The heating is really only to get it up to its operating temperature quickly and therefore cut emissions sooner after startup. I don't think lack of that should cause you any problems, at least, not once the engine is warmed up.
