Before it's completely dry, and exhibiting the contact-and-locked phenomenon, things glued using contact cement can be moved quite a bit as necessary...but you will need to clamp and lock it well, once your happy with the position, for final drying. As an alternate, I kinda like the RTV silicon type of glues.
