I give the car a tune up annually, right before going for Emissions car inspection. That must be around 15-20K miles.
I noticed that I do have to fix the gap on the plugs before putting them in.
Keep in mind that the Head is aluminum and the plugs are metal. Dis-similar metals do not like each other, It's best to pull the plugs if for nothing else just to make sure they don't 'weld' themselves in your Head.
