spark plug maintenance 700 1989

I'm a maintenance hog to start with. I replace them once a year which works out to around every 20K miles. The owners manual says every 30K they should be changed. I think it is the cheapest thing you can do next to cleaning the throttle body. The car runs better and gets better gas mileage. I just don't believe in getting cheap with routine maintenance.
