If you are planning on keeping this 85, go ahead and spend the money for the new SKF bearing mounts (assuming they've never been changed). There is enough labor hours and sweat in replacing the strut inserts to justify $90 more. Check the condition of the rubber around the strut bearing before removing (some of the rubber around the strut nut can be seen). If there are visible cracks, they definitely need to be replaced (these cracks won't be visible when mounts are removed because there is no load). If the old mounts are reused, pry out the bearing shields, clean out the old grease, and repack the balls with fresh grease. I doubt if new spacers are needed. Be careful that the spacers lay flat in the bottom of the tube when reassembling (stick spacer to bottom of insert with grease and carefully slide insert down the tube). jp
