Hey Max -

The parking light position should (1) turn on only the parking lights, and (2) not be affected by the igintion key.

In headlight position, the current comes though a relay that's closed only when the key is in Postion II. And, that posiiton should turn on both parking and headlights.

If your manny tranny brick gets parks and headlights in park position, sounds like something is either jumped somewhere or the headlight switch is bad.
