Engine stutter/misfire 444-544

I don't know what type of air mass meter you have - maybe the flapper type? Anyway, using my experience with my Porsche 944 - the track where the air meter arm tracks on the variable resistor inside the meter may have become worn or corroded. You can take the cover off and slightly bend the arm to track on a "new" part of the variable resistor. May help you out. You can look at the procedure on the web - I think the guy's name is FR Wilks - could be frwilks.com
