1973 145 140-160

The later M41s had a much improved shifter with the switch in the top of the
shift knob. If the tranny is mounted to the bellhousing with 4 big allen
bolts from the outside, it is an M40/41.
BTW I have the old longhandled shifter on the M41 in my 122 wagon and it shifts
GREAT.

But almost all of the M46s were made to lean at an angle so a shifter that
would work on a 73 145 would be hard to come by.
