The AC leak that no one can find may be in the connection behind the headlight. I cannot remeber which side since the car is elsewhere and the memory is from three years ago.

For some odd reason, even though the factory diagrams do not show a connection in the hose, there is one and unless you know it is there or find it by removing a headlamp it gets missed. A friends 83 and my 85 both have the connector. And both leaked, and both were not found by a Volvo shop or tech.
