Radiator question 1800 1972

I am doing a major overhaul of my '72 ES, including swapping the BW35 for a 410. The radiator I have has the cooling connections for the automatic tranny.

Can I use the same radiator with the manual, just plug up the connections? I assume that some of the volume of the radiator is taken up by the cooling core for the transmission fluid, and worry about diminished cooling capacity.

Should I get a new radiator rather than use the old one. If so, any suggestions on where to obtain a new radiator or what to get?
