A Button That Does Nothin' 200 1984

I had a '68 142 with an electrically operated remote trunk release. I had all but forgotten about it until this thread. The trunk lid struts were shot so the the lid always closed and latched itself after opening, rendering the whole setup useless until I finally put on some working struts.
Makes me want to put one on the current 240. They can be real handy.

I also once owned a '66 Cutlass that had a trunk release button in the glove box. But it was vacuum operated.
