"I might doze off under there."
You'll be in GREAT shape when you wake up!
A trick (learned out of frustration) that helped me out of a steering
wheel jam:
Take off the steering wheel nut. On opposite flats (or opposite corners)
take your rat tail file and file some semicircular grooves deep enough
to match up with the tapped holes in the steering wheel hub. Use some
fairly short bolts and washers and when this nut is screwed on just flush
with the end of the steering column, it makes a pretty good puller and it
is ALWAYS there! You don't have to go looking for it!
