Automatic transmission AW 71....shift problem? 700 1989

The button on the shifter works as it should the light somes on and goes off like it should, and the car will downshift as it is ment to......
Untill it gets warm.


I ran the VIN number thru volvo and they told me it was an aw71, same withthe 2 local dealers when I gave them a part number off the trans.
