@ flaps:
The '84 and '85 M47's have the mechnical speedo, so there wont be a problem with that. So it's pretty much a bolt on.

@vvpete:
Do you know what the rear end ratios of both AW71 and M47 are? Is the AW71 perhaps a 4.1 diff and the M47 a 3.9 or so? Or the perhaps the other way around?
And is the rearend ratio of an AW71 equiped 740, the same as an AW71 equiped 240? Thanks.
