crankcase ventilation question 700

I know that my increasing oil leakage on my 91 740 n/a is probably more of a symptom than the problem. So I went looking at my flame trap setup and found pretty quickly that the small diameter hose that goes from the side of the flame trap to the nipple on the intake manifold was not just cracked, but broken right through. Under the fuel rail where it wsn't obvious, of course.

So I replaced that section of hose. My question is whether that little hose is a significant enough part of the ventilation setup to cause me to have positive crankcase pressure.

Thanks.
