G-man,


I had a leaky pinion on my 1990 240 -at about 195k... which I opted out of fixing myself... got the skill but lack tools. Bought a new seal along with two bottles of synthetic gear oil & took it to my local indy Volvo guy. I got to watch him do it.

Very easy if the right tools are on hand. The cost for labor was $45... plus I got a chance to really look over the underside while she was on the lift.
